The roots of the Primitive Home lie in primitive housing such as the hut and the dwelling places of both the Vikings and the nomadic cultures. What combines all primitive housing is that home is a one single space: the middle area is for cooking and socializing while the sides are more private. We are used to living in houses that are designed functionally and where each activity has its own room. Instead of separating walls, in the Primitive Home the inhabitants and the activities come together in one free space.
